The House

The company that we bought our home from called Billy a few days ago and told him the delivery date for our home. That is great, except Billy had bad reception and didn't hear exactly what the guy told him. So, this morning I started calling all the different contact people that we have and they couldn't give me an answer. Finally our sales woman told me to call Darryl. He was the man hired to drive our home to the site and to set it. I called him and got no answer. All I could think was, great...he's going to be coming on Monday and we won't have a clue!

He finally called me back this afternoon and said that we were scheduled to be set up on Thursday morning. YEAH!!! It's all coming together! Now all we need is for Billy to get home so we can load up his truck with stuff to take with him!

So...I decided to start a blog to log our new adventure! We have 23 days until our big move to North Dakota!



Some of you may not know how this came about so I will explain the story...



A couple of Billy's buddies asked him to go check out some truck driving jobs in North Dakota, in this town called Williston. So they went out there and looked into things, asked some questions, and about a week later Billy was leaving me to go work for Superior Oil Drilling in Williston North Dakota. Two weeks after that we had officially decided that we were moving to Williston. I put in my two weeks notice, started gathering boxes, looking into new jobs, homes, insurance, etc. Keep in mind I had yet to see this town.

I got to go to Williston the last week of April. I boarded the Amtrack on Thursday night and arrived in Williston on Friday Morning. I drove around, saw the sites, met for a few interviews, and then Billy and I went and picked out our house.
