These are pictures of my finished interior decorating. Billy had off over the past weekend and we got all the pictures, shelves and other miscellaneous decor up on the walls. It definately feels like home now...

This is our backyard. I am pretty sure it is the biggest yard in the park, so we are pretty lucky. Billy built the boys a great sand box...

I'm such a dork, but this is first tuft of grass in our lawn:) You can not imagine how sick of mud and dry dirt I am...

This is the lone tree in the state of ND...hahaha, just kidding, this is our little scraggly tree. Hopefully with some TLC we can make it flourish...

This is my front porch, deck, whatever you want to calll it. I love it...

BUSY WEEK!!! Oh my gosh...crazy...here we go on Saturday the 17th we went to a friends house for a cook out and we got to catch up with all of Bill's former coworkers at Superior...from the conversations that we heard Billy definitely made the right choice going to Sun. We were going to go swimming on Saturday with Sally and Quincy but things didn't work out so we went swimming on Monday night after I got done with work. Billy told me before he left for work that he wouldn't be home until late but I got a call while we were getting DQ informing me that he was locked out of the house and he asked if I would come let him in the house...so I left the boys with our friend at DQ, went home to let him in the house, went back to DQ to eat, and then swam for 2 hours with my boys and our new found friends.
Brodon loves the water but he got cold and started to shiver so he and I got out and just watched everyone else. Colton kept on swimming and then he started jumping and then he decided he didn't need any of us to help him so here are some great pictures...

Today wasn't a picture day, just a day filled with important phone calls and decisions to make...
I have been trying to get Colton enrolled into preschool for a few weeks now and I finally got him into one that is 3 blocks from my work and 2 blocks from the sitters house:) It is a parochial guided school and curriculum located in a church. I am so thankful that he is going to be going to school that I could have cried with joy!
More to come....

The other good news is that Brody took his first steps yesterday and Billy and I both got to see it... which is amazing! The bad news is that he bit a little girl at daycare yesterday as well...and he bit her hard! I called her mom and she was fine but I felt so bad and embarrassed that he did that. Hopefully the lemon juice will curb his biting habits. Until next time!

Billy finally got the call that he has been waiting for...he got a job on a work over rig!! Sun Well Services called and offered him a job! He started on Thursday and so far so good:)

Earlier in the week, before he got the call, we started landscaping. Billy rented a bobcat and flattened things out and he built our sandbox, the mobile home place put our skirting on, Billy finished putting the lattice around the front deck, and we are starting to feel like this is home and not some place we got stuck in...

Here are a few pictures of our outside projects...

The Fourth and other things...

I am a week behind but we had a great Fourth of July! Williston has a parade and a free lunch and apple pie and ice cream social in the park for the community. They also provide live entertainment in the park after the parade.

One of Billy's buddies from work lives right on main street and his wife invited us to watch the parade at their house. We had gone to the fair with them the week before and had had a good time. The parade was at 10:30 Am with everything else to follow. Here are some pictures...
This is Colton and his new Buddy waiting for candy to be thrown from the parade.
Mr. Colton has such a great smile!!!
This is the view down 'Million Dollar Way', well, part of the street anyways. This is where all the businesses are along the main drag.
Brody was sooo tired, he slept right through the whole thing.

This is in the park. They have this little stadium/stage and if you squint you can see the Elvis impersonator on stage in the blue. He was very good!

In the park they have a miniature train that took kids on rides all day long. Colton and his Buddy went on so many rides I lost track.
My Brodon...He is getting soo big sooooo fast!!
My Colton...so independant and assertive!!!!
I love this picture! Colton was getting some Ice cream at this moment...
Brodon and Daddy...I'm not sure what they are looking at....more to come later:)

The last week and a half has been crazy! Last weekend was the Upper Missouri Fair *aka* Williams county fair. It was great! Very clean, nice carnies, great rides, good food, but different. I missed the livestock barns and the brown cheese curd vendor at the Medford Fair and the Demo Derby. No demo derby here...everyone is into the stock car racing and there is a dirt oval track right at the fair grounds. That is HUGE...that and the Kentucky Derby:) Bill and I have very different interests but here are a few pictures of our time at the fair.

There was a booth that was doing free face painting and of course we can't go somewhere and have everything we need...we forgot the stroller. So, Bill left and got the stroller so while we waited Colton got his face painted.

Colton loves the car rides! He wanted the blue car but someone beat him too it...

A group from town was putting on a free petting zoo for the kids. They had lamas, sheep, baby calves, lambs, baby bunnies, ponies, goats, baby goats...the normal barnyard wild life. Colton wanted to hold a bunny so I grabbed a bunny and set it on his lap and then he freaked just a little bit and pushed it to the ground. He didn't like that bunny. Brodon thought the animals were pretty cool and he would clap. He didn't like to touch but he did like the baby goats.

I wanted cheese curds SO bad...so I bought a dish of curds...I got about 6 itty bitty cheese curds for $5.00! Some things are just not the same...I will not eat fair cheese curds unless I am back home in Wisconsin!

Playing the games...Colton was a good shot:)
Brodons first Merry Go-Ride! He loved it!

We had a great time and we look forward to going again next year!
